Constantin Film closes first look deal with Court Five

Constantin Film is teaming up with Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming of Court Five Productions: Constantin Film and Court Five signed a first look deal with plans to develop and produce TV and feature projects together.

Ordesky and Fleming added: “We look forward to working with Robert and the terrific team at Constantin to continue their long tradition of producing successful franchises in film and television. We believe their robust financing and distribution apparatus provides us the ideal platform for creators to succeed in the evolving global marketplace.”

Court Five Productions was founded by former New Line Cinema executives Jane Fleming and Mark Ordesky, whose portfolios include groundbreaking independent cinema of all shapes and sizes. Fleming and Ordesky were responsible for over 60 films while at New Line and Fine Line, collectively grossing nearly $4 billion at the worldwide box office, and earning 38 Academy Award nominations with 18 wins. As Executive Producer on the “The Lord Of The Rings” trilogy, Ordesky spent five years in New Zealand supervising all elements of development, production, and post.

As Court Five, Fleming and Ordesky have produced three feature films, as well as the groundbreaking reality/scripted television series, “The Quest.”

With the internationally successful RESIDENT EVIL film franchise and TV-series SHADOWHUNTERS – THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS, as well as many other English language productions, Constantin Film continues to expand its international activities.
